To a terrible debate

Tonight, I watched unequivocally, the worst run debate in this entire primary process.  Moderators George Stephanopolous and Charles Gibson decided to devote almost the full first half of the debate to the most frivolous “issues” of the entire primary followed by a “let’s interrupt Obama at any opportunity” streak by Gibson.  Truly disappointing stuff from ABC.

The debate was fine. If Obama wants to associate with certain people, he should have to answer questions about it.

  2. Ben Main says:

He has answered questions about all of those people. Devoting over 50 minutes to such inane topics when this elections should be about who will be a better President is almost criminal.

Why is it inane to ask a candidate for president of the United States about a mentor of his thats says things like God Damn America and America commits genocide against black people? Remember, Obama himself reputiated all Wrights remarks, so then why would that same man be a mentor of his? Also why is it inane to ask a candidate why he says he is ‘friendly’ with a man that bombed the Capitol and the Pentagon and says he wishes he did even more than that? What kind of candidate, or human being for that matter, would say he is ‘friendly’ with that animal? Remember, Obama calls those bombings detestable acts, so why would he be friendly with him then? A domestic terrorist that caused the deaths of American citizens? C’mon. Why would a candidate for the president of the United States have a mentor also that is a Memeber of the Communist Party of the United States of America (CPUSA)? Remember, Obama has denounced anti American, Communist, Marxist, anti semite, racist remarks, friends, mentors and domestic terrorist connections time and time again, but the part that Americans do not feel is inane is that , yes, he has denounced most of this but, no, he has never removed any of those people from his or his families life. When did it become ok for an American president to keep such people in his life during the presidency or even before his presidency for that matter? Democrats just need to find out more about these issues on their own because Obama has stated time and time again that he has decided for us that we do not want to know, so he just makes a small excuse for each of these questions and tells America to drop it. If after Americans find out all the details on their own, and still vote for him, well then that says alot about what our country has become. Obama has some wonderful policy ideas, but he has to accept that we need to know
